نفسي والهوى لما أستحل الماء

فكيف يواري عيني الإغفاء

له بغية فى دار الهوى  

ما فض من ركمها الانداء

أين الذي مستهل سمره شداء

 دعك من منطق لحنها السمراء

ركن النجود على أيكة مرامه

فلكل غصن مال نحوها إصغاء 

لها فى البكورة طلة تنفذ وضاء

كخفطة البرق يسلم الرشد للزرقاء

لها فى الطلول بشارات تلوح 

بإشراعة من بين الأحداق تقاد

بهجة تسري بين الوريد والاحداق

ولها ما يهب الصبا بالأحشاء
