كمْ نرى فيهِ خسةً

ثمَّ وجهًا تفحَّما

كلُّ حُرٍّ بها هوى

بيدِ العزمِ أنجما

في غمارٍ وحروبٍ

مثلُ أسْدٍ تجهَّما

هزَّصخرا وجبالاُ

قد دناها تكتَّما

كمْ سرى بينَ حالكٍ 

واللظى ما تكلَّما
